Design/Build:

In order to provide an accurate estimate for designing and building new websites, please understand that we first need a good understanding of your goals/needs. As a very general rule-of-thumb, base pricing starts out at $80-$100 per page (i.e. a complete simple/basic five page informational website with a few graphics can start as low as $400). Actual rates will depend on options or variables such as:

• Total number of pages
  

• Logo development
  

• Specialized graphics, video, or animation
  

• Need for a domain name
  

• External files & forms
  

• eCommerce
  

• Integration with third-party applications

As with the local blacksmith of years gone by, The Village Websmith takes great satisfaction in producing straight-forward quality work at a very reasonable rate. Our pricing has a one-time (Design/Build) component and an on-going (Hosting) component: 

Hosting:

Enhanced hosting with The Village Websmith is affordable and includes up to two hours of non-accruing maintenance/retainer credit per month. Websites are rarely static and you will find the need to make minor changes and updates to keep it fresh and accurate. Have you been frustrated by others that charge in 15 or 30 minute increments at full rate regardless of how quickly the change actually takes?  ...we look forward to making those inevitable tweaks for you as part of our hosting service.  Barring any excessive bandwidth requirements, our enhanced hosting service for the typical client is only $25 per month.  You can easily incur much more than that with just one minor change from the average web administrator.  And with our convenient month-to-month terms, you'll never be locked in to a long-term hosting commitment.
